The Walking Dead Season 3 Character First Look: Michonne!

At the end of the second season of The Walking Dead, we got just a short glimpse at one of the upcoming characters of the series: Michonne. Now it has been officially confirmed by the producers of the show that katana-wielding Michonne will be played by Danai Guira. Even better, we have a photo of it and she looks amazing!

Executive producer Robert Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly: “The essence of the character — her personality, her motives, everything that makes Michonne Michonne — remains intact from the comics. But like a lot of things on the show, there will be little tweaks and differences here and there. We saw that her introduction is slightly different from how it was in the comic, and her interaction with Andrea is really going to be a really cool addition to the character that I think will get television viewers up to speed, and they’ll get to know her a lot faster than comic book readers did.”

And she certainly looks good and you can check out the first look at Michonne in The Walking Dead. We’ll see her in Season 3, soon!

First Trailer for The Walking Dead Video Game Released, Looks Awesome

Apart from a more casual Walking Dead game that we’ll get on Facebook, fans of the TV show and the comic book series will also get a more hardcore version, the Walking Dead video game created by Telltale Games, which will be released pretty soon. And now the first ever trailer for The Walking Dead game has been released and you can check it out in a video below.

Created by animator and director Daniel M. Kanemoto, the trailer blends 2D and 3D imagery in stunning fashion as homage to the art of the original comic book world on which Telltale’s game is based. Kanemoto was asked by Telltale to create the trailer because of a “fan made” Walking Dead title sequence he had made, which can be seen at

Even more interesting is the fact that the developers of the game, Telltale, have also kicked off a pre-order campaign on their site, which has a pretty interesting incentive: there is a grand prize that if you win, will have you “put into an episode of our The Walking Dead game as a human character and murdered gruesomely – only to be resurrected as a member of the undead and put down once and for all!” Absolutely amazing – too bad that there’s just one prize, I’m sure there will be a real fight for it.

Here’s how the winner should expect to look like a zombified, Walking Dead version of a rotting corpse:

Everything seems to be really nice when it comes to The Walking Dead video game from Telltale, don’t you think?

The Walking Dead Game Coming to Facebook

Fans of The Walking Dead should not be too sad with the season break: a Walking Dead game will come to Facebook pretty soon (in April) and we’ll be allowed to live the post-apocalyptic life in the zombie infected world that we know from the show.

The game, however, will not allow us to play as characters from the TV show, even though we are promised to meet Rick and the company during our playing time.

But probably we won’t even have that much time to chat and interact with them, because The Walking Dead game on Facebook will challenge us to build a base camp and head over with a group of survivors to gather supplies to make sure we don’t die of hunger.

Of course, walkers will be lurking around everywhere and killing them will be the main attraction, plus a series of tactical decisions that we’ll have to make, like choosing between ranged and melee weapons, choosing to keep the teams tight or spread the men and women and so on. Probably it will all be very impressive.

You can check out the first Walking Dead Facebook game screenshots below, for some pretty nice zombie killing action:

As I said, the Walking Dead game comes to Facebook in April, so make sure to start playing it as soon as it’s out!
